In many period-time words or phrases in Hezhe (赫哲) language, there are not only many time words and time phrases without mark, but also many time phrases with all kinds of marks. The period-time words or phrases in Hezhe language have abundant grammatical meaning, expressing not only the full time length and the length of the biological growth, but also the time range of the incident, the duration of the action, action occurred frequency, the duration of the state, as well as the action after the state duration or experience. The main function of the period-time components in Hezhe language is to act as adverbial and complement in sentences. Apart from this, they can also act as subject and attributive, but not the predicate and object.
